Easter Fun!

Pin It It's been a busy few weeks for me, getting my ducks in a row, working on my portfolio, and finalizing items for my website and blog.  I'm rather proud of myself, because I was determined to customize everything, from the titles to the social media buttons, and I have managed to get it almost where I want it.  Hoping to unveil everything this weekend...but I am perfectionist, so I won't commit...yet.

In the meantime, here are some Easter snapshots from this weekend. I love this sweet little frame. Almost forgot I had it, but I love how it goes with this image.

Light edits with a vintage action applied, no staging or set up, just real pictures of a very real girl.

I had the honor of photographing this little princess a couple of weeks ago, and have been playing with some different vintage looks.  This is my current favorite. Isn't she precious?

My first attempts at backlighting surprised me.  It helps that the fabulous Oh So Posh Photography published such an awesome tutorial.  This is my little drama queen with one of her MANY expressions.  Seriously, this kid has so many, it is hard to keep track.  Each day, it seems, there is a new one.  In this one, she is letting mw know that the impromptu photo session is O-V-E-R for the day.   And so it was.   I am am so excited to submit this picture as my very first entry to IHF!
